I don't really care if anyone reads this but I just HAVE to say this or my head will explode.
I live in Russia, I was born here, I'm a patriot, I love my country, respect it's history and people who live here. But you know what? There are days when I can't help but admitt. Russia SUCKS. It has nothing to do with the president, the prime minister etc It has nothing to do with politics at all. It's much simplier than that.
Today I came how and switched on the news. It only took 10 minutes to completely ruin my day.
First of all they covered an event that took place yesterday, and here it is. Yesterday, a 10 MONTHS old child died in Moscow. Why? She got sick, bad. Her parents rushed her into the nearest hospital. In the hospital they refused to help the child, it had nothing to do with money, or health insurance, parents simply didn't have the necessary papers on them. So they had to go to another hospital that was like 40 killomteres (25 miles)away. When they got there, some doctor examined the child for a few minutes, gave a completely wrong diagnosis, gave the girl a shot and said that they'll wait untill tomorrow to see what happens. The girl died in a few hours. And nobody is going to jail for this because they say it's nobody's fault.
That was the first thing I heard on TV today, the other was about some guy who out of jealousy killed his girlfriend. He came to her house, they had a fight earlier, he had a shotgun with him. And well, he shot her, and then her old parents who lived with her. Just to get rid of the witnesses. After the police captured him, he confessed and was sentenced for 3 years in jail. 3 YEARS! I'm only half russian, and my other half is arabic, well in Syria they get 3 years for stealing a car. What kind of country would sentence a mass murder for only 3 years in jail??? The day I graduate from university this guy will already be a free man, walking among us like nothing happened. And I may be a patriot but all this gets me to admitt one simply thing. Russia SUCKS A$$ if things like that happen all the time...
